WELCOME TO FJUHSD FOOD SERVICES!

In 2023-24 School Year, under California Universal Meals Program FJUHSD will continue to provide Free Breakfast and Free lunch for all students every school day. At all our school sites Free breakfast will be available to students before school or during the first morning break. Lunch will be provided free of charge during the lunch period. Additionally, Free supper will be offered at participating schools.

We are continuing the More Than a Meal communication program for the 2023-24 school year. All benefits described in the More Than a Meal program will require an eligibility letter.  While meals are free for all students, families should complete an income survey form for CEP schools (Fullerton HS, La Habra HS, Buena Park HS, La Vista & La Sierra HS)

Eligibility letters will be provided upon request from the Food Services department.  Due to the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) rules students attending Sonora, Sunny Hills, and Troy high schools will be required to complete the traditional lunch applications in addition to the income data form in aeries, in order to obtain an eligibility letter.

What is Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)?

The CEP is a State of California program that allows qualified schools to eliminate the many forms and administrative burdens for students to receive free meals. Buena Park, Fullerton Union, La Habra, and La Vista/La Sierra high schools qualify as CEP schools for the 2022-23 school year. The CEP changes how the school district collects information to qualify for benefits. All schools in the district are CEP except for the following: Sonora, Sunny Hills, and Troy.
